Firstly a little about our family.

My name is Lindsey Cope and I am Married to Ian. We have been together 11 years this year, though we will have only managed 3 of them as Mr & Mrs Cope in June 2009! Ian doesn't like speeches and couldn't face a wedding before we really did have to get round to it. I think 8 years was long enough to wait. We have one Son Joshua who is 4 and has Cerebral Palsey and is a real cutie and a big charmer with the ladies! He can walk now and is learning to talk. Baby number two is on it's way and due to arrive on or around June 4th 2009, the day after our anniversary!
Together Ian & I came up with the Idea of selling beads many years ago, when Joshua arrived it was put on the backburner for a while as we had many appointments and therapy to attend. We began selling a little on ebay until we could get going properly and build a great website.

Okay so a little more about me...... I was born on the 2nd July 1980 and lived in Saundersfoot a little coastal village in Pembrokeshire for most of my life. I have pretty much always been a creative person enjoying arts & crafts from an early age. My mum enrolled me on a silver jewellery making class with her a a friend when I was about 13 and that was to be my first foray into creating a professional looking piece of jewellery. Little did I know that I would end up creating jewellery again when I was older though not with solder and Solid Silver but with Wire, Beads, Crystals and jewellery findings..........

After School I moved to London to do my Art Foundation course at Central St Martins College of Art & Design only to find myself homesick and missing Ian. After my finishing my course, (though I could have stayed on), I moved back home to do a Degree in Textiles in Carmarthen at the West Wales School of the Arts. It was great to be back "beside the seaside" and home with my hubby to be. I graduated three years later with a degree in Contemporary Textiles and exhibited at the "New Designers" show in Islington, from here I got chosen to exhibit in the Embroiderers Guilds touring Graduate Showcase and also to join The Society of Designer Craftsmen and exhibit with them at the Mall Galleries in London. I of course did both.
